SMS Messaging Terms & Conditions

By providing your mobile phone number and opting in to receive SMS messages from the Metis Foundation, you agree to receive transactional text messages related to your use of Metis systems, including REDCap and associated administrative platforms.


Program Description

The Metis Foundation uses SMS messaging to provide operational notifications and security alerts to authorized users. These messages may include:

  • One-time passcodes for account login verification
  • Notifications requesting approval of purchases or documents
  • Updates regarding request status or system activity
  • Account security alerts

Messages are sent only in response to user activity within the system or as part of account authentication and workflow processes. The Metis Foundation does not send marketing or promotional messages through this program.

Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.

Opt-In

Users opt in to receive SMS messages by providing their mobile phone number during account registration or account settings within the Metis Foundation systems and agreeing to receive SMS notifications for authentication or workflow updates.

Opt-Out

You may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive. After you send STOP, you will receive a confirmation message that you have been unsubscribed.

SMS messaging is supported by most major U.S. mobile carriers. Delivery is subject to effective transmission by your mobile carrier and is not guaranteed.
