The Military Cardiovascular Outcomes Research program (MiCOR) is located at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland. MiCOR is a multidisciplinary program that performs randomized clinical trials of novel prevention and treatment approaches to decrease the risk of cardiovascular disease in active-duty military personnel, retirees, and their dependents due to conditions including, but not limited to, combat injury, sleep disorders, eating disorders, and COVID-19. The mission of the MiCOR Program is to enhance the cardiovascular health and well-being of the Warfighter and the DoD community through innovative clinical research using precision techniques. MiCOR has a variety of clinical research studies focused on both the biomedical and behavioral components that contribute to cardiovascular risk and disease.
