The Metis Foundation partners with military investigators in San Antonio to identify funding opportunities and submit winning research proposals to federal sponsors. The Metis Foundation is seasoned with receiving grants and awards for researchers. We provide DoD researchers with not only the ability to apply for extramural awards, but also to apply for intramural funds that may be expiring. We help our researchers in every step of the proposal process to ensure them optimal funding for their projects by:

  • Providing step-by-step aid to new grant applicants

  • Identifying federal funding opportunities specific to research at hand

  • Serving as a liaison with the sponsor for gathering information and marketing the research plan

  • Assisting in proposal writing and submission

  • Developing well-written, justifiable budgets in accordance with grant/contract regulation

  • Reviewing proposals for successful submittal

  • Coordinating participation of subcontractors and consultants
